I read an article in the newspaper
about a lil baby who is abused by the nanny!
her brain and eyes kena blood
2 ops in 3mth, and now at 1yr old, she cannot even drink milk by herself
need to be fed thru a tube thru her nose
I cried after reading the article
Regardless is it abuse or accident(which is unlike)
the bb life is ruined!
Even if she can recover, it will not be the same
Still, I pray that she can recover her eyesight
My heart really hurts seeing this happen
I am glad that I have my mum to take care of Charis
I wun trust other ppl, she is the BEST!

Charis wakes up at 6.30am this morning!
despite it is raining & so cooling to sleep
Guai guai lying in her playpen while I get myself dressed up
since still early, i bicycle her legs and massage her tummy
as it helps her to poop poop
Today Charis will be trying her 2nd fruit puree!
her 1st fruit puree is pear
it was abit sour though she is taking well
she dun like to drink the juice but like to eat the pear
think the juice is more sour ba!
today is plum/prune puree!
Hope she like it!!!

Arrival of baby Nicholas

19 April 2021, we welcomed our new member :) he has came to us as a surprised gift. I got to know I was pregnant last Sep, at first it came to me as a shock rather than surprise. Firstly I did not thought that getting conceive is easy, for all previous pregnancy, I have tried ways and means to get pregnant, and now I did not even try and I strike jackpot! Of course, baby equal joy!!! We broken the news to our kids and Charis even cried when she heard it. My pregnancy journey is not a smooth one, at 40 year old, I feel my body is not prepared and weak for this pregnancy. I have bleeding for the whole T2 and pelvic pain for T3. Basically i need more and more bedrest and because I get to work from home due to covid 19, I did not have to travel to work or request any medical leave. 16 April 2021, I am at week 37 plus 4days, during the gynae check, I was already 2cm dilated, I am excited. My inital plan is to induce on 19 April as I am worried that the fliud level will drop after week 38...

Kolby can walk @13 mth

Kolby started walking on his own a few weeks ago.. He is so happy when he can walk on his own to me.. I am so proud of him.

8 June 2015, the day Kolby come to my life. Cannot believe 1 year has past, just in a blink of eye, my kopi boy is 1 year old. Happy birthday Kolby! Mommy loves you always! Be happy and healthy! It is my only wish.  Oh my, I survived 1 year without maid! Seriously I cannot make it without my mother. 真的是世上只有妈妈好! 家 有 一老，如有 一宝 ！ 很幸运，我有两宝！！！ And I am also happy that I have breastfeed my kopi boy for a year and still going on! The amount I pump in the day is only half of what he is drinking in the day, I am surprised that I can nurse him during the weekend, and at night. It is quite amazing how our body works when baby is around. I read from online that there is always milk for them. And it is true! Another good news is I managed to lose more weight, from L size to M size now, I managed to wear back some of my pre-preggy dresses and tops. I still have a tummy to slim down before I can wear back my pants.  I will continue to exercise to make it happen.
