I was a horrible mummy!!!
Fail to take good care of bb charis
Last sat after bathing charis
I slipped and fall on charis
My whole palm pressed against her tummy
Her hipcup stopped immediately
She din cry, still behave as usual
However I was very scared
Brought her to KKH immediately
Took X-ray and doc checked her
Still cried for milk during the check-up
No vommiting after taking the milk
No problem, she is fine!
Din sleep that night to observe her
So scared that she has difficulties in breathing
Lucky she is fine now!

  1. i think u can discuss with hb how to make toilet safer place for u and bb. because sg toilet v small. with the basin etc all on the way, its dangerous. there's a case where a maid used one hand to take towel and her other hand also go move the baby and bang bb head hard agst the toilet bowl or basin. she didnt say anything but bb at night cannot liaoz........ so i think really must plan everything beforehand, make sure toilet is not slippery etc.

its not yr fault that u slipped but at least make it wont happened again. make sure floor is not well. wear those slippers with lines that will make it not slippery. HTHs. Dont blame yrself too much. Afterall no one want this to happened

Pill inserted, arrangeed to admit TMC at 1pm 1pm: Reached TMC, labour ward fulled, waited for room. 2pm: In labour ward, nurse checked for dilation. Only 2cm dilated. Dear still have time for his dental appointment 3pm: Dr Wong came to break the water bag, only 3cm dilated. Arranged me to put on drip at 4.30pm cos dear is not back from his appointment yet. Everytime must wait for him :( 4.30pm: Shortly after dear is back, nurse came to put me on drip. Start to feel the contraction at every 4min interval. Dilation is only 4cm 4.40pm: The pain is getting worse and I have the urge to poo. Asked nurse to check, still 4cm. Cannot tahan any longer, asked for epidual. 4.45pm: Nurse was preparing the consent form, I have strong urge to push. Pushed a few times, thought that I have pooped and asked nurse over to clean up. Charis is 7 mth big! So far she is able to • Sit well • Crawl well • Lunges forward from sitting position to grasp an object • Feeds herself with a cracker • Drink well from sippy cup • Recognises names & faces • Begins to understand meaning of “No” • Imitate what we do • Stand up while holding on to something • Trying to walk with support • Sleep on her own without rocking or patting her to sleep • Say mama when angry • Play peek-a-boo Tried feeding Charis Banana Puree on Monday Banana Puree Bananas are full of slow-release sugars which provide sustained energy. They make a perfect baby recipe as they are portable and come in their own easy to peel packaging. They are also good for the treatment of diarrhoea and constipation. Method: Peel a small banana and mash with a fork. During the first stages of weaning, add a little milk if necessary to thin down the consistency and add a familiar taste. However, Charis doesn't like it at all. Yuke! Refuse to try! Trying to escape from ...
