March school holiday 2015

So fast, March school holiday has ended.Today Charis starts term2, lucky she has no problem waking in the morning after a short 1 week school break though she claimed that she felt tired. I think she must be very looking forward to another school holidays after today.

The homework for the term break is not a lot, which is totally what I wanted! I belong to 1 of the kind that do not want homework for kid. 1 spelling and 1 e-learning for mathematic, just nice!

Apart from playground, their next favourite spot will be their study desk. Doing their coloring, drawing and assignment book which are handed down by my mom neighbours. I have not buy any primary 1 assignment books and hope that I do not need to buy them.

Took 1 day off during the holidays to meet up my friend for lunch and did a little shopping with the kids. I am very happy and contented so long they smile. Keep smiling, my darlings.

Arrival of baby Nicholas

Of course, baby equal joy!!! We broken the news to our kids and Charis even cried when she heard it. My pregnancy journey is not a smooth one, at 40 year old, I feel my body is not prepared and weak for this pregnancy. I have bleeding for the whole T2 and pelvic pain for T3. Basically i need more and more bedrest and because I get to work from home due to covid 19, I did not have to travel to work or request any medical leave. 16 April 2021, I am at week 37 plus 4days, during the gynae check, I was already 2cm dilated, I am excited. My inital plan is to induce on 19 April as I am worried that the fliud level will drop after week 38...

Dear still have time for his dental appointment 3pm: Dr Wong came to break the water bag, only 3cm dilated. Arranged me to put on drip at 4.30pm cos dear is not back from his appointment yet. Everytime must wait for him :( 4.30pm: Shortly after dear is back, nurse came to put me on drip. Start to feel the contraction at every 4min interval. Dilation is only 4cm 4.40pm: The pain is getting worse and I have the urge to poo. Asked nurse to check, still 4cm. Cannot tahan any longer, asked for epidual. 4.45pm: Nurse was preparing the consent form, I have strong urge to push. Pushed a few times, thought that I have pooped and asked nurse over to clean up.
