Charis 1st CNY!
She had a lot fun these few days!
Until she is very "hong xin"
This little girl makes everyone so happy!

除夕夜
We have steamboat at our ILs hse
Naughty Charis is busy playing with the high chair
Charis first time staying out till so late
I wonder will she miss her bed






年初一
Our first stop is to dear auntie hse
Big bungalow with 2 dogs to "welcome" us
*I am SUPER afraid of DOGS*
Yet Charis seems very happy to see the dogs
Lucky uncles and aunties take turns to carry Charis
As her useless mother did not dare to move around the hse with the DOGS around!
To my horror, more people come visiting and they bring their DOGS too
5 dogs together barking away when they see each other
The loud bark scared Charis
Yet I did not dare to carry her back from her granny
Because the bark scared me too
Almost going to CRY le!
Dear see me so and finally we left the hse!

Next stop is to my God ma hse!
Here is much more safer
No more DOGS!
However Charis is already very cranky by then
Sleepy and hungry ! ! !
as she reject to drink her milk
I was telling her dad that Charis HONG XIN until she don't want her milk

First time I was Charis so fierce
She screamed and hit Dan!
When Dan wanted to play with her
We knew it well because she is very SLEEPY

My ah yi say Charis smile like me
Both of us squeeze my features together when smile

年初二
I don't like the gathering on this day
Cause today Charis breathe in the most 2nd-hand smoke
Though her dad is a smoker, he has never smoke in face of Charis
But today the adults just smoke freely
Of cos that is their hse, I have to respect the owners
I cannot do nothing but keep carry Charis out to walk walk
But seriously, don't they know the smoke is bad for their 3 kids too
Furthermore, there is a pregnant mother (my SIL) and a baby - _ -










年初三
Went to Yishun to 拜年
Charis is not feeling well
Her stomach is bloated and she only drink twice today
Plus she did not sleep well for the past 3 nights
She is quite cranky
So we cut the program short and let her rest today

    Charis looks so sweet n pretty in her hairband. =) Must be a sweet looking girl when her hair grows longer.

    So coincident, my ger oso having the same cny dress as Charis. Mine is pink color. :))

Arrival of baby Nicholas

19 April 2021, we welcomed our new member :) he has came to us as a surprised gift. I got to know I was pregnant last Sep, at first it came to me as a shock rather than surprise. Firstly I did not thought that getting conceive is easy, for all previous pregnancy, I have tried ways and means to get pregnant, and now I did not even try and I strike jackpot! Of course, baby equal joy!!! We broken the news to our kids and Charis even cried when she heard it. My pregnancy journey is not a smooth one, at 40 year old, I feel my body is not prepared and weak for this pregnancy. I have bleeding for the whole T2 and pelvic pain for T3. Basically i need more and more bedrest and because I get to work from home due to covid 19, I did not have to travel to work or request any medical leave. 16 April 2021, I am at week 37 plus 4days, during the gynae check, I was already 2cm dilated, I am excited. My inital plan is to induce on 19 April as I am worried that the fliud level will drop after week 38...

Charis is better now No more fever after 1 week No more runny nose No more coughing I was so worried when she was still having fever (37.4 ~ 37.8 degrees) on monday... Pd say it may be due to the flu that is why she is still having fever on & off felt so painful when they use a machine to suck out her mucus Charis was struggling bad! I believe she HATES doctor now She has phlegm in her lung I was so scared that it will turn be to bronchiolitis Hengz... I made a call to Ah kor, she gave me a method 1) Feed her with barley 2) No shower because she caught a flu 3) Use Ru Yi Oil plus a few drop of martell and massage on her tummy And it WORKS on her! Really 佩服 ah kor! 谢天谢地！！ ！ She can sleep well again! (include us too)

My Labor Story

My labor story for Gregory is rather a short one. 9am: Went for my week 38 check up. Dr Wong checked that Water level is low, was asked to induce today. Pill inserted, arrangeed to admit TMC at 1pm 1pm: Reached TMC, labour ward fulled, waited for room. 2pm: In labour ward, nurse checked for dilation. Only 2cm dilated. Dear still have time for his dental appointment 3pm: Dr Wong came to break the water bag, only 3cm dilated. Arranged me to put on drip at 4.30pm cos dear is not back from his appointment yet. Everytime must wait for him :( 4.30pm: Shortly after dear is back, nurse came to put me on drip. Start to feel the contraction at every 4min interval. Dilation is only 4cm 4.40pm: The pain is getting worse and I have the urge to poo. Asked nurse to check, still 4cm. Cannot tahan any longer, asked for epidual. 4.45pm: Nurse was preparing the consent form, I have strong urge to push. Pushed a few times, thought that I have pooped and asked nurse over to clean up.
