Maidless day is coming

Haven't been updating my blog. So busy after a job change and house moving. Finally we have shifted to our new home for 1 mth plus. Both kids are happy with their new home and they are excited and able to wake up early to travel to grandma house. Surprise me!!!

But I can foresee a nightmare soon with the maid leaving us. Gregory has to go childcare as my mom cannot cope with 2 kids. So it will be a nightmare for Gregory and me. Worried if gregory can cope in
Childcare, falling sick, eating well etc. Also I don't know he think when he has to go Childcare while Charis doesn't has to.

Last night both darlings were watching a video clip of Charis Esther day performance. Gregory point to the video and told me this: "Mama, next time I go to jiejie school"
I felt bad hearing that especially he used to say: "I don't want to go to school" whenever we told him to go school until now he finally say that he will go school but he will be in different school from Charis after we send the maid back. Charis will continue at her church kindergarten while Gregory will start his Childcare. I can't help to hate the maid, because of her greed, I need to change my plan.

Arrival of baby Nicholas

19 April 2021, we welcomed our new member :) he has came to us as a surprised gift. I got to know I was pregnant last Sep, at first it came to me as a shock rather than surprise. Firstly I did not thought that getting conceive is easy, for all previous pregnancy, I have tried ways and means to get pregnant, and now I did not even try and I strike jackpot! Of course, baby equal joy!!! We broken the news to our kids and Charis even cried when she heard it. My pregnancy journey is not a smooth one, at 40 year old, I feel my body is not prepared and weak for this pregnancy. I have bleeding for the whole T2 and pelvic pain for T3. Basically i need more and more bedrest and because I get to work from home due to covid 19, I did not have to travel to work or request any medical leave. 16 April 2021, I am at week 37 plus 4days, during the gynae check, I was already 2cm dilated, I am excited. My inital plan is to induce on 19 April as I am worried that the fliud level will drop after week 38...

Holiday mean FUN!

HAPPY!!! I started to love school holidays more! For 1 reason! To wake up late! Ok, I don’t get to sleep until 自然醒 but it is still a joy to wake up 1 hour later than the usual timing 。。 After all ever since have kids, sleep until 自然醒 is a very much luxury for me   Holiday mean FUN! As a working mommy, I cannot spend whole june holiday with them but I try to take 1 or 2 days leave off work to spend time with them. We have watched Jungle Book together on 27 May after their parent-teacher-meeting. And I hope that I can bring them out once a week to enjoy during this holiday. After having Kolby, we missed out a lot of thing together. Playing with them and bring them to play are 2 different thing. I want to play with them. Have fun with them. That why a helper will be good if someone can help to look after my kopi boy while I bond with my 2 darlings. Development of Kolby 11 month old

So fast, Kolby is 11 month old now. 1 month more and he will be 1 year old. At 11 month old, he is doing well though he is rather small build compared to his peers. Remember he was sick for a week, after since then, he has become extra more sticky to me to the extent that I cannot be out of his sight. He used to be ok when I asked Charis or hubby to look after or play with him while I do housework. Now, NO WAY! He will crawl or move toward me if he hears that I ask Charis or hubby to come over to my side. Oh dear, I was so shocked when he did it. We experienced a few times with Charis, and he really fast hand fast leg crawl to me and hug me like a koala bear. Sometimes I wonder is it because I latch him always.
