Brought Charis out alone on Friday!
Yes! This is the 1st time I bring her out.
Keep telling myself that I can do it, and I really did it!
Charis is quiet when out. Very different from her usual self!
We went to Harbourfront to meet Lavelle.
Godsis is bringing Lavelle for a swim.
Charis quietly watching Lavelle having fun, no eager to try
It seems fun but I scared that Charis will get cold and fall sick.
Afterall She has just recovered not long ago.

My mum came to join me later to shop around Vivo.
She wants to see Lavelle too.
Guess little lavelle is in good mood, she is chatty that day
Unlike Charis, who keep quiet throughout.
Seems to be very well behave, 乖乖baby
She can be a great actress next time.

See her in her usual self after she has familiarised with the place

Responding well to my camera

Her hair is down!
After a day of wearing her cap

So far, I have tried some fruit with Charis.
Mainly apples and pear, sweet potato
I have bought some Japanese Sweet potato. Should try on her next week.
Charis still prefer cereal to porridge.
I tried feeding her porridge and she is actually blowing bubbles with it
Yesterday she finished up her cereal with apple.
She don't like just apple puree, too sour!
So I add cereal in, not too much as I scared she will have constipation again
And she finished it up.
Tomorrow I shall try porridge with sweet potato again.
Mashing sweet potato. I cooked it together with porridge in slow cooker. Very easy to mash it.

Apple puree. rather watery. I use Royal Gala Apple, but this turn out to be sour too.

Arrival of baby Nicholas

19 April 2021, we welcomed our new member :) he has came to us as a surprised gift. I got to know I was pregnant last Sep, at first it came to me as a shock rather than surprise. Firstly I did not thought that getting conceive is easy, for all previous pregnancy, I have tried ways and means to get pregnant, and now I did not even try and I strike jackpot! Of course, baby equal joy!!! We broken the news to our kids and Charis even cried when she heard it. My pregnancy journey is not a smooth one, at 40 year old, I feel my body is not prepared and weak for this pregnancy. I have bleeding for the whole T2 and pelvic pain for T3. Basically i need more and more bedrest and because I get to work from home due to covid 19, I did not have to travel to work or request any medical leave. 16 April 2021, I am at week 37 plus 4days, during the gynae check, I was already 2cm dilated, I am excited. My inital plan is to induce on 19 April as I am worried that the fliud level will drop after week 38...

Development of Kolby 11 month old

So fast, Kolby is 11 month old now. 1 month more and he will be 1 year old. At 11 month old, he is doing well though he is rather small build compared to his peers. Remember he was sick for a week, after since then, he has become extra more sticky to me to the extent that I cannot be out of his sight. He used to be ok when I asked Charis or hubby to look after or play with him while I do housework. Now, NO WAY! He will crawl or move toward me if he hears that I ask Charis or hubby to come over to my side. Oh dear, I was so shocked when he did it. We experienced a few times with Charis, and he really fast hand fast leg crawl to me and hug me like a koala bear. Sometimes I wonder is it because I latch him always. Hubby said Kolby only recognize me as his milk machine, but I think Kolby simply love me too much~~ At 11 month old he can do quite a few things: Kiss goodbye Wave goodbye Say mama, jiejie, baba, nehneh, bird bird Listen to instruction like ...

Updated on kopi kia

Kolby surprised me again by picking up a raisin and put in his mouth and he chew it before swallowing it. Why do I feel surprised with his action? Remember he was once refer to KKH because of his not good motor skill   and fine motor skill and his slow weight gain. Within a month, he is able to start independently, knowing how to use a pen to scribble and also picking up a raisin and feed himself. Maybe his weight gain is still not ideal as I don’t monitor his weight and height gain. Other than this, he is doing very well. I am glad that I trusted my mother instinct and did not bring him to   unnecessary assessment. I understand that the doctor in polyclinic mean well and they have to follow the procedure, but no doubt, it is also adding extra stress to the parents. I have colleagues who will see from the health booklet what is the age and things that a child can do and practice them with her child in order not to fail the assessment. Of course it is good to ...
