After 2 weeks of bed rest,  I was out for my Gynae checkup. Today is my induce date, the day that I will be hugging and holding my baby prince. We left the house with my hopsital bag. I told my hubby that baby prince should be coming out soon as I can feel him very low. True enough, my Gynae checked and I was 3cm dilated. She inserted the pill to induce labour and we had about 3hr to admit to the ward. Shortly after the pill was inserted, I could feel the contractions coming strong and frequent, but I did not expect it to be so soon. So hubby and I went to novena for his hair cut and we saw quan yi feng. Stunned, hubby commented that she looked more shag than me but I was not focusing as my contractions was very strong for me. Basically I could not stand up at all. We rushed back to the hospital, wanted to be admit but I need my food first. Endure and endure, we rushed to finish our meal at delifrance with me almost curl up because of the pain. I was check in around 12 noon though...

Officially in week 37 now! After bed rest for 2 weeks, I do not have to worry of pre term labor anymore. In fact I wish that baby come early than the induced date 8 june, which left only 1 day, 7 june. Sound sick?!?! Actually I can feel that my body is preparing for baby arrival itself. Maybe 8 june is the date that baby wants too. Let wait and see. 7 june or 8 june.

I went in Thomson Medical Centre on my own last sat, 23th May midnight. I was having diarrhoea which trigger sharp pain on right side of my tummy. Hubby has to stay at home to look after the kids, I quickly changed and took a cab to TMC. By the time I reached TMC, the pain was getting stronger. The midwife admitted me in and checked me. I was 2cm dilated and the contraction was getting stronger and frequent. Only week 35, of course I did not want baby to come out so early. I read and knew that Baby lung is not fully matured at week 35, so my gynae put me on drip to stop the contraction and injection to strengthen baby lung. From 12 am to 5am, slowly the contraction faded off and I was warded for 1 day observation. Cannot describe how I feel for that 5hours, I can only pray to tian gong and guan yin that everything will be fine for baby and me. After 1 day stay in TMC, I was given 20 hospitalisation leave to rest at home. Bed rest, since I have already dilated 2cm. Hopefully baby stay...

I am officially in week 33 today. Yesterday detailed scan was not ideal. The spot in baby liver did not disappear, in fact it grew bigger to 10mm now. Something to add to my worries but it is also something that is out of my control. I can only pray that it is harmless to baby. Dr wong said that since baby is growing well, the spot should not be a problem. I hope she is 100% right. Baby is a healthy and happy boy! At week 33, his kicks are very strong and powerful. I can feel him drilling downwards as the pain around pelvic area increases and his punching and kicking are strong that I feel so painful. Dr wong compared his weight to his jiejie and korkor. At week 33, Charis was about 2kg, Gregory was about 1.8kg and baby measured yesterday is about 2.248kg. He is the bigger among all and bcos he absorb and grow well, Dr wong ensure me that the spot should be harmless. Maybe it is just a Calcium deposit (bright spot/calcification). I don't feel good recently. I am quite surprised that I can hold it until now. Apart from my own work stress, one of colleague dropped a bomb that she want to quit due to work stress and my absence for 4 mth. Temp gal is inexperienced and slow in her work. A few close colleagues have tendered as well. Seriously I don't feel like going back to work after my maternity leave but I cannot. He is going out of job in june, based on the job market now and fresh graduate finding job, job seeking may take longer time. Now I am writing this page at TMC while waiting for my detailed scan. During the 20th week scan, baby had a spot in his liver, now I am waiting for my scan to check on the spot. Hopefully it has disappeared! I really need god strength to pass through this stage. 😔😔😔

Unplanned Gynae visit, I have been having spotting for 1 week. After informing my boss at work, I decide to go to the clinic.to get myself monitor. In case there is any early sign of labour. No contraction, baby is not yet engaged, cervix is closed tight. It is a false alarm. Everything is ok with baby prince growing well. Enough of fluid and space to move about, he is now about 1.6kg. Since I will be delivering before week 40, the weight will be ok for natural birth, not too big nor small. Great! The baby cot has arrived. It is preloved, I got it from my sil. It is still in good condition, with a mattress though I should be getting a new mattress, bedding set. After this, it is really complete and waiting for baby prince arrival in june.

I have experienced spotting and backache on and off since week 29. Today I am in week 30, after doing some purchases for baby prince, I started to have spotting again. I think I really not able to walk long, even a 10 min walk to office will have me bleed. 7 weeks to go. I do hope that I cam hold baby prince till full term. Let me recall what I have bought for baby prince and myself: 8pcs of rompers 4pcs avent milk bottles (end up got 1 free pigeon milk bottle from GE sign up) 4pcs avent natural milk bottles (bundled together with avent steriliser I bought) 12pcs short sleeves front button top 12pcs long pants 12 face towel 6 sets of mitten and booties 3 cap 2 towel 1 baby safe latex pillow 1 steriliser 1 spectra S1 breastpump 1 pc diaper organiser Diaper cream, shower gel, socks, changing mat Avent milk storage cup After the baby cot arrive tomorrow, I will have to grab the mattress, waterproof protector, bedsheet, stroller and that should be all. Into my 3rd trimester, no more hipcup and everything seems well for today check up. I have put on 8-10kg of weight and little prince is around 1.2kg at week 27 and 2 days. He is still high and yet turn in position, I do hope that by next checkup around week 33, he would have turn in position. I remembered when Charis and gregory time, both were down quite early. For little prince, maybe I restricted myself from moving too much, he is still high. I may have to do a bit more walking. My Gynae is away during june holiday, 10 june to 23 june. I will be in week 38 by then, hopefully she can still deliver for me before she is away. Since previous 2 round were induced due to low fluid level at week 38, I think this round may be the same too. I do have a feeling that it will be 10 june itself.

Going to week 27, thanks god that I have no more spotting. No complications, but because I cannot help to feel worry that this round baby may come early, afterall, I do not feel as good as the last 2 pregnancy. So in case anything happen, and I can have time to grab my bag and rush down to hospital, I decided to list out the items that I need to bring to the hospital. Must-Haves: Pen, Bank account for baby bonus, cda account, birth cert registration Headband (going to cut my hair shorter before labour) Smart phone and charger Toiletries like hairbrush, toothbrush, toothpaste, face wash, day cream, night cream, lip balm Face towel Comfortable going-home dress and flat shoes 2-3 pairs of warm socks Sweater heavy flow sanitary pads 2 maternity bras and underwear Pyjama Breast pump Slippers Warm blankets (for the ride home) Did I missed out anything? :)

I am getting the list to buy for baby #3. It is 5 years apart from my 2 nd pregnancy, there are many things that we have passed out to other friends or donate them away. Since this is my 3 rd baby, there are some must-buy items and some forget-about-it items that we can skip, listing out the list now so that I can check out the deals in the coming baby fairs, not the mega fair at expo. I am not in a good condition to squeeze with the crowd, but small fairs like taka baby fair, OG private fairs will be good enough for me. Looking at my list, it seems like I have still a lot of things to buy. Hopefully I can get them all in time. My 3rd pregnancy is not a smooth one. After the scary detailed scan 2 weeks ago, I experienced spotting at 23rd week. From brown discharge to light pink, it really scared me badly. Never have any spotting in my 1st and 2nd pregnancy, I am very scared of preterm labor. Google the Web on spotting in 2nd trimester  scared me even more. Though baby assure me that he is kicking well, to play save, we rushed to the hopsital at 10pm with 2 kids right after hubby friend gathering. I was put on observation for 1 hr to monitor baby heartbeat and movement, 2 darlings are well behaved and keep me accompanied. Didi is seduced by his dad to 7-11, jiejie resisted the temptation and stay with me. Lucky after an hr of observation, no spotting, no sign of contractions, with baby kicking well, I am able to go home.

Last Friday 6th feb was a torture for me, the detailed scan result was not so ideal and I have been so worried. I simply cannot focus on anything and keep crying until the next scan which was on last wed 11th feb by the dept head. The 1st detailed scan result show 1 spot in the brain and 1 spot in the liver. The spot in the brain is called choroid plexus cyst which is getting common in pregnancy. Usually it will disappear by 3rd trimester. The rare case is that it will be down symdrone T18. It is quite harmless by itself. A harmony test can done to test for the cause. Echogenic nodule in fetal liver is the term that my Gynae told me. It is a white spot of 8mm big. The biggest worry is that it may be cause by infection and can spread to the brain causing liver and brain damage. The way to find out the cause is to take a blood test to test for cytomegalo virus and toxoplasma. I took the blood test immediately after the scan result at Gynae clinic. My mind was in a loss. 1 more day to 20 weeks pregnancy :) more colleagues start to notice my bump, it is getting obvious but I wonder why I was not getting any seat in the train. People just act blur. Yesterday, I was sitting on the bus at 1 adult 1 child seat, 1 mummy and her kid board the bus. She was expecting me to give up the seat to her. The bus was full and nobody is offering her any seat so she just stand near me and told her son to wait. I felt bad for letting the kid stand but I need the seat too. If in the train, I will give up the seat but bus will be too shaky for me. So I decided to sit down and be the bad auntie. There is space beside me, she can ask her son to sit down if she is scared that her son may fall but she didn't. So I keep quiet and rest. 

Into my 16 weeks of pregnancy, everything goes smooth. Used to have morning sickness, lucky it is mild and only happen when I am hungry. I have many many cravings for this baby and I need to satisfy it. Womb service, my baby request it. I think I looked more than 16 weeks. I am expecting a boy, can start my shopping now

I am a hopeless wife and mommy I worry when charis dun poop, I panic when charis keep crying I get worked up and upset easily, and poor dear have to suffer Today dear bring up the question: when are we bringing charis back to his hse I dunno how to answer Personally I dun like bringing charis back so early afterall she is a newborn, still vey young I dun want her to expose and travel around between his place and my mum hse though it is only a few blocks away but it is very hectic if everyday have to bring charis to my mum hse before work, bring her back from my mum after work why not just leave bb with her since it is just a few block away, ur parents can always drop over to see bb if they want or maybe when charis is slightly bigger 4-5mth plus it will be a better timimg will this be too much I am the ONE who been thru the whole pregnancy for 9 1/2 mth I am the ONE who suffered the delivery process (i still have to wait him for one hr in the delivery ward) and the pain after the deliv...

One more mummy has popped! This time it is a Prince! We have a Princess & a Prince now! Both mummies delivered 2-3weeks before their edd, wonder how they feel now! I feel so excited for them! All of us have went thru the pregnancy period together, and slowly one by one is popping~ My parents have offically shifted hse, and they are so called neighbour with us (only 2 block away) so many things to unpack, i really have no idea of where to start. but i know i am very excited to set up baby cherish playpen~ washing her clothes and i will be all ready for her arrival! baby cherish is very active today, make me uncorfortable to do things Think she can feel my joy! kekeke! my darling, you have to stay inside for 2 more weeks, be good, ok Mummy love you!
