Scary move of Charis

Don't know how she did it
But according to her 婆婆，
she managed to climb into the fridge and sit there...
Scary!

Really have to buy a lock to lock the fridge now
This girl is full of surprises for us!

Now I am so scared that she will climb near the window using the chair
so scared that my mum will forget to lock the window grills
as she will take the bamboo poles in and out
Also her 婆婆 and dear like to carry her near to the window w/o grills
So worried that she will assume that it is alright to look over the window w/o grills in place...
Am I thinking too much?

Recently it keep raining at night
and Charis sleep very soundly every night
w/o waking up for milk...

Good for me, cos each time I will only managed to sleep back after 1hr
So I have been enjoying my sleep very well :)

Sometimes I wondered it is because she eat too much in the day
Basically, she can eat non stop
Like no limited!
She has ever eat 3 slice of bread in a row after her first milk feed
When her 婆婆 dun give her (since she has drink her milk not long ago)
Charis will cry and keep saying: mum mum (mean food)
Give her half slice, she dun want!
She want one whole slice on her own!
Jialiat!

Went to my cousin hse
Charis and Yuze!

Both are rough when it comes to toys
Yuze keep pushing Charis away from the rider
Charis screamed back at him..
It's fun to see kids playing together

Arrival of baby Nicholas

19 April 2021, we welcomed our new member :) he has came to us as a surprised gift. I got to know I was pregnant last Sep, at first it came to me as a shock rather than surprise. Firstly I did not thought that getting conceive is easy, for all previous pregnancy, I have tried ways and means to get pregnant, and now I did not even try and I strike jackpot! Of course, baby equal joy!!! We broken the news to our kids and Charis even cried when she heard it. My pregnancy journey is not a smooth one, at 40 year old, I feel my body is not prepared and weak for this pregnancy. I have bleeding for the whole T2 and pelvic pain for T3. Basically i need more and more bedrest and because I get to work from home due to covid 19, I did not have to travel to work or request any medical leave. 16 April 2021, I am at week 37 plus 4days, during the gynae check, I was already 2cm dilated, I am excited. My inital plan is to induce on 19 April as I am worried that the fliud level will drop after week 38...

Holiday mean FUN!

HAPPY!!! I started to love school holidays more! For 1 reason! To wake up late! Ok, I don’t get to sleep until 自然醒 but it is still a joy to wake up 1 hour later than the usual timing 。。 After all ever since have kids, sleep until 自然醒 is a very much luxury for me   Holiday mean FUN! As a working mommy, I cannot spend whole june holiday with them but I try to take 1 or 2 days leave off work to spend time with them. We have watched Jungle Book together on 27 May after their parent-teacher-meeting. And I hope that I can bring them out once a week to enjoy during this holiday. After having Kolby, we missed out a lot of thing together. Playing with them and bring them to play are 2 different thing. I want to play with them. Have fun with them. That why a helper will be good if someone can help to look after my kopi boy while I bond with my 2 darlings. But now, it is too late to get a helper as kopi boy will sure reject strange faces.   Charis scored well, not hig...

Development of Kolby 11 month old

So fast, Kolby is 11 month old now. 1 month more and he will be 1 year old. At 11 month old, he is doing well though he is rather small build compared to his peers. Remember he was sick for a week, after since then, he has become extra more sticky to me to the extent that I cannot be out of his sight. He used to be ok when I asked Charis or hubby to look after or play with him while I do housework. Now, NO WAY! He will crawl or move toward me if he hears that I ask Charis or hubby to come over to my side. Oh dear, I was so shocked when he did it. We experienced a few times with Charis, and he really fast hand fast leg crawl to me and hug me like a koala bear. Sometimes I wonder is it because I latch him always.
